Perrywood Primary School – Worcester, Case Study

We were invited back to Perrywood Primary School to upgrade the flooring for the school’s corridors. Areas such as corridors receive a high amount of foot fall, so Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring (LVT) was chosen for its low maintenance, hard wearing and durable properties.

Karndean Knight Tile vinyl planks are available in many different designs so were the perfect choice for this project.

The existing carpet was lifted from the floor and then F.Ball Stopgap 300 water based smoothing compound was applied to the sub-floor. When installing luxury vinyl flooring, subfloor preparation is key to getting the perfect finish and ensuring the product stays in place for many years.

The planks were then applied to the floor. After installing the same design to previous areas continued on further along the corridors of the school.

The planks once again, enhanced the whole area and will provide a long lasting maintenance free floorcovering.
